Data Formatter app's actions can be used in all HubSpot object-based workflows.
Create a workflow and set the trigger criteria. In this example , we are creating a Deal based workflow and setting the trigger as amount is known.
After setting up the trigger, create a new action, and from the left side bar, select your desired data formatting action. In this example, let's proceed with the text to number feature.
Step 3: Define The Input
Now we need to set the input data in the action. Here, we are selecting a custom property named Text Based Number which stores numbers in a text based HubSpot property. You can use any property as your need but please note, this action accepts input property that contains digits only.
After selecting the input, save the action.
Step 4: Using The Action Output
The resulting transformed data, accessible as the action output, can be directly used in subsequent actions within your workflow. In this example, let's copy the action output to a number based property named ARR on deal record.
After selecting the Action Outputs we will see the text to number number actions output named Converted Number. Let's select that in the property to copy from field.
Finally, we select the destination property to store the output.
After running the workflow in the enrollments history tab, we see that the action was successfully executed.
